He removes only the excess Buccal Fat pad that is causing the round full cheeks and takes care not to remove the entire fat pad. This will provide the adequate balance of the face for years to come and not lead to excess hollowness.

The surgery is not demanding and takes less than an hour. Although it may cause some swelling, the pain goes away quickly, and patients can return to their normal activities almost immediately after the surgery.
