Threadlift

During the in-office procedure in Scottsdale Arizona or the Bay Area California, Dr. Tamplen will begin by marking the cheek areas mapping out the suture placement on the patient. Local anesthesia is given in small amounts where the punctures will be made. The physician will then gently insert the needle and cones guide it through the subcutaneous tissue to the nasolabial fold and a second needle is used to pass the suture segment up to the temple in the hairline. The sutures are tightened, and the cheek is lifted to smooth and elevate the cheek fat pad up onto the cheekbone. The skin in the jowl or lower neck can also be pulled back with these sutures.

The ideal patient is 30-50 with concerns of facial aging and droopiness of the midface who is not yet ready for a facelift. This procedure can provide beautiful results for up to 18 months.

Patients should be off aspirin, Advil and Aleve for at least seven days prior to the procedure.
